Seller terms

Last updated: 11 October 2026

These terms apply to gold and jewellery shops ("Sellers") that sell on Sahab Gold, in addition to the general Terms of use.

1. Eligibility and verification

  • A valid Commercial Registration (CR) and a valid licence to trade in gold and precious metals issued by the Ministry of Commerce are required.
  • Your shop goes live only after we verify these documents. You must keep them valid and upload renewals before expiry; expired documents lead to suspension.
  • VAT-registered Sellers must provide their VAT number; it is printed on customer tax invoices.

2. Listings

  • Each listing must state the true karat, net gold weight (grams), making charge and the value of any stones, and must match the hallmark stamped on the piece in line with Saudi hallmarking requirements.
  • Photos must show the actual item. Do not use other brands' names, logos or official images unless you are an authorised retailer.
  • Gold-plated, gold-filled or imitation items are not permitted.

3. Pricing

Prices of gold items are calculated automatically by the Platform from the live rate of the karat, your making charge and stones value, plus VAT. You control the making charge, stones value, discounts and stock. Discounts on gold items apply to the making charge unless the administrator decides otherwise.

4. Orders and fulfilment

  • Confirm or reject new orders within 24 hours and hand insured parcels to the courier within 2 business days, or prepare in-store pickups.
  • Pack items securely with the invoice and a weight/karat certificate.
  • Keep stock up to date; repeated cancellations may lead to penalties or suspension.

5. Commission and payouts

  • Sahab Gold charges a commission on the net sale value (excluding VAT and shipping) at the rate agreed for your shop or the platform default shown in your dashboard.
  • For online payments, your earnings (sale value minus commission) are credited to your balance once the order is paid; for cash on delivery you collect the cash and the commission is deducted from your balance.
  • Request payouts from your dashboard to the bank account (IBAN) registered in your shop's name.

6. Returns

You must honour the Platform's Return & exchange policy and applicable consumer law, and handle return requests within 3 business days.

7. Tax

You are responsible for your own VAT and zakat obligations. The Platform issues simplified tax invoices for orders in your name using the details you provide.

8. Prohibited conduct

Off-platform payment requests, fake reviews, misrepresentation of karat or weight, and any breach of anti-money-laundering rules are prohibited and may result in immediate suspension and reporting to the authorities.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend listings or the shop for breach of these terms, invalid licences, or customer safety concerns. You may close your shop at any time after completing open orders.
